Around 1.1 million students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 will participate in the annual National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) starting on 9 May 2017. The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. It has been an everyday part of the school calendar since 2008.
NAPLAN is made up of tests in the four areas:
- language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
We wish our Year 3 and 5 students well and know that they will do their very best!
Please ensure that your children are getting a good nights sleep before the assessments and having a really good breakfast each morning. This will help to set them up for the day and to function at their best.
